Types of Glazing
There are many different names used to describe energy efficient glass
units; Pilkington ‘K Glass’, Low E, Soft Coat, etc. In fact all of the
aforementioned mean the same thing, the first is Pilkington’s brand
name, the second is short for Low Emissivity, and the third describing
the soft coating placed on the inner glass pane to lower the emittance
of heat through your windows.
All of our glazing has Low E soft coating and is thermally efficient.
